I take a lot of supplements for my hair, but it's not growing. Why?Updated a year ago

Whether specifically targeting hair growth or merely general supplements, food supplements can only positively impact hair growth if you are deficient. Once the needs of your body are met, anything more becomes superfluous and can even cause inflammation. If you already eat a healthy, balanced diet, supplements will not benefit you. If you are on a low-fat or low-calorie diet, you may see some benefits from taking supplements, the effects of which are likely minimal.
